A Five-Week Postpartum Care Experience
The establishment of your milk supply in the early weeks after birth is a singular and invaluable window.
Once this window passes, it cannot be recreated in the same way. The first days and weeks postpartum set the foundation for milk production. What happens during this time shapes not only how much milk you make, but how your body and baby adapts.
For many women, being able to bring in their milk supply effectively, is priceless.
It affects bonding, mental well-being, and the ability to feed without ongoing stress or depletion. When challenges arise later, they often trace back to a lack of skilled, early support during this critical phase.
This experience is designed to protect that window.
Rather than reacting once problems are established, we work proactively to ensure the environment is as optimal as possible and that you are also supported nutritionally and emotionally while your body is most responsive. This is about stewardship of a moment that carries lasting impact.
The
PROGRAM
Session 1
Prenatal Preparation
Ideally scheduled between 33 to 36 weeks gestation.
This session prepares your body, nervous system, and home environment for the early postpartum period. We cover breastfeeding expectations, early recovery, nourishment strategies, rest planning, and support systems so the transition after birth feels informed and supported rather than reactive.
Session 4
Stabilization and Regulation
Scheduled during the second week postpartum.
As hormones shift and feeding begins to settle, this session focuses on refining breastfeeding strategies, protecting milk supply, and adjusting nutrition to support energy, healing, and maternal well-being.
Session 6
Four-Week Wrap-Up and Forward Care
Scheduled around four weeks postpartum.
This final session integrates all aspects of care. We review feeding progress, fine-tune nutrition, and discuss strategies for maintaining supply (especially for mothers returning to work) and well-being as support tapers and independence increases.
Sessions 2 & 3
Intensive Early Postpartum Support
Scheduled immediately after birth.
These sessions provide high-touch, clinical support during the most vulnerable window for milk supply and feeding establishment. Each visit allows time for thorough assessment, including weighted feeds when indicated, latch and positioning support, milk supply guidance, and maternal recovery care.
We also address nourishment, hydration, emotional well-being, and your baby’s feeding cues as they evolve day by day.
Session 5
Integration and Sustainability
Scheduled during the third week postpartum.
Here we focus on maintaining supply, replenishing maternal reserves, and establishing sustainable routines, (if necessary). Nutrition support is still paramount to support your supply and your repleting reserves. We also work to understand your baby's changing sleeping and feeding habits and how to support your body and baby's body through these changes.
